This blog was born during a night at Oosters, where over Belgian beer and grub, we talked about our upcoming vacation to Port Dickson (Malaysia), while simultaneously planning future trips to Bhutan and North Thailand.

Good beer does fuel ambitions.

Glaube, elfinchilde and I have been friends for 20 years. Three very different personalities; yet we travel well together. We have not killed each other yet, though I almost succeeded in getting myself lynched in Laos by them. But that's a story for later.

Folks have always wondered about the strange / not-so-strange places we go, the things we see, the things we do. Why do we go.

Road to Perdition / sans contrition is our space for all the countries we have visited, and will visit. It will (hopefully) also chronicle the food, wines, beers, whiskies we try, as we drink our way through the world map.
